Tupokigwe Isagah is a Research Associate at the United Nations University (UNU-EGOV) since 2022.

Her research experience and expertise focus on approaches for facilitating the adoption and implementation of emerging technologies in the public sector for social good. She is currently exploring techniques for the responsible adoption of emerging technologies in Africa. Also, Isagah works with UN-Habitat and IDRC to assess the responsible AI in Cities.

Isagah has an Information Systems background and four (4) years of experience in teaching the courses. She worked with Mzumbe University, Tanzania as a lecturer in the department of computing science studies. In the past five (5) years, Isagah worked with the Flemish government (4SITE project-P2) to enhance the utilisation of ICT in Morogoro city by improving ICT infrastructure and designing local ICT solutions to cater to societal needs. She worked with Uganda and Kenya through the TESCEA project funded by UK Aid to transform the way teaching ICT courses in higher learning institutions.

Isagah facilitates workshops and local conferences on digital government transformation and AI for social good. Isagah holds a PhD in Information Systems from Koblenz University, Germany, under the e-Government research group.
