Tomoyo Tanno is a Communications Associate at UNU-IAS.
In this role, she supports the development and execution of communication strategies to increase visibility and outreach of the institute with a particular focus on Japan. Tomoyo is a graduate of Doshisha University in Kyoto where she obtained an MA in Economics with a focus on Cultural Policy. She was born and raised in Japan and has a study abroad experience in the UK.
Prior to joining UNU-IAS, Tomoyo worked as a management consultant and has experience in the fields of sustainability strategy and change management. She is passionate about promoting evidence-based research to raise public awareness of sustainability issues.
