NR Meirany Rahayu is an intern at the United Nations University - International Institute for Global Health (UNU-IIGH) under the pillar of Gender Equality and Intersectionality.

Her previous research focused on health, women empowerment, self-help methods, and psychology communications. Before joining UNU-IIGH, Meirany served as a research assistant for the Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) Program, addressing issues of water scarcity and waste management in West Bandung, Indonesia. She was also a Peace Fellow and Social Campaigner, contributing to the "For Peace Project" campaign that aimed to address gender-based violence in Southeast Asia. During this campaign, Meirany actively participated in discussions, proposed highlighting the issue of sexual exploitation of children, and conducted research to develop compelling social media content.
