Arsh Ajmera works as a Communications Officer at United Nations University MERIT.
He is also a Junior Researcher (Consultant) for ICMPD in Brussels, contributing to the India-EU CDMM - Phase II: India-EU Cooperation and Dialogue on Migration and Mobility. Before stepping into his communications role, he was an intern on the MIrreM project, under the supervision of Lalaine Siruno.
Holding a dual MSc. in Public Policy and Human Development from Maastricht University/UNU-MERIT, Arsh specialised in Migration Studies. His master's thesis examined the effects of a UNHCR livelihood program in Bangladesh for Rohingya refugees.
Arsh earned his BA from Ashoka University in India, majoring in Political Science with a focus on International Relations. After completing his undergraduate degree, he worked as a researcher for a consumer insights firm, where he conducted qualitative studies for clients such as Google and Facebook.
