Dina Kamal is a PhD Dual Career fellow at UNU-MERIT since 2018.
Her research is focused on country or state-level economic shocks, related economic impact and government response to these shocks, and how these shape citizens' willingness to pay taxes (tax morale). Dina is also Partner and Innovation Leader at Omnia AI, Deloitte artificial intelligence practice. She has 20 years of experience covering the various risks aspects related to technology, cybersecurity, financial crime, and enterprise risk management. She focuses on financial services, public sector, and energy industries. Dina has a master’s in public policy and now in the final stages of a PhD in Economics.
